Taco Bell's Chili Cheese Burrito!

QueBert

Lifer
It's back, well it's not exactly like the one they use to have that they stupidly pulled off the menu. I remember eating a ton of those. Tis good though, I scarfed one tonight. When I ordered it I asked for my usual "add lava sauce" and was totally heartbroken when I was told "sorry that's been removed from the menu"

So they bring back easily the best Burrito they ever had, but axe the best sauce they have?

ARGH! YEEEEAH for the Chilito though, it probably is about the same as original, it's just been a long time since they've had them so I don't 100% remember how it tastes.

Chili (no beans!!!!) + Cheese in a tortilla = TEH WINS! This might be a limited time thing along with the Chili Cheese Fry Loader Griller so I better eat them as much as I possibly can before they pull them off the menu again.

I had a young shift manager enlighten me that it was no different that ordering a beef burrito without the onion. That is how I have been ordering them.

Given the love for Taco Hell on this forum, I suspect a great deal of ATOTers are stoners. 😉

I get the opposite impression..........either very few people on ATOT did anything other than go to school and study from the ages of 15-20, or those that did just don't want to mention it 😛

They're good. But a skyline chili chilito is food of the gods.

Is it really, or is it a nostalgia "good"?

That picture is 100% pure extender food that the poor rely on for energy....Cheese, tortilla, beans.

Don't get me wrong, I've sat in line @ midnight for Taco Bell, chili, all sorts of crap...I lived off of Tina's .25c burritos when I moved out of the house....but "food of the gods" would seem to be hyperbole. 😛

Isn't OP the same that guy is always crying about "white people going to Chipotle and thinking it is Mexican food"? I would think someone with such a high opinion on Mexican cuisine would avoid Taco Bell.

And, these look disgusting. Their original burrito and the volcano nachos are the only things I'll eat there. I used to enjoy their soft chicken tacos, but they started adding some garbage ranch + guacamole mixture of trash sauce on it and charging like $2 for it...

You are missing the last part of the neurosis: Taco Bell > Chipotle quality wise.

Probably nostalgia. I remember loving the chilito, was my favorite. Quite disappointed when they didn't have it anymore.

Why does this exact same fucking argument come up every god damn time somebody mentions Taco Bell?

HEY ASSHOLES!!
