Taco Bell

In how many ways can you possibly combine and promote beef, chicken, bacon, cheese, tomato and lettuce in a shell?

Why is Taco Bell wasting ad dollars promoting their supposedly new menu items? They are indistinguishable from their old menu items!

Any thoughts on this?

There are some differences, such as some have different sauces and stress more of one type of meat, etc... But yeah, for the most part, a gordida and chalupa are the same 🙂

/me just gets 2 Soft Taco's and a side of Nacho Cheese. The Chicken Grilled Quesadilla is also good though.

WTH is the "new" quesadilla? All I can tell is that it comes in a crummy plastic wrapper instead of the cardboard, and is soggier than it used to be. Oh, and it's more expensive. W00t. Just see if I eat there ever again. I'll drive the extra 5 minutes into the heart of the ghetto for some REAL tacos.

The portion seems to have decreased and priced increased as well. There is a burrito shop I like, but I have to drive ten miles into the heart of the slums too.

Just noticed that you average about 27 posts per day.

Just out of curiosity, don't you have anything better to do with your time?

I miss the old new Taco Bell menu.

Remember the Chicken Club burrito with chicken, rice, cheese, bacon and ranch sauce?

Remember the 7 Layer Burrito? Yumm.....

What happened to those days. 🙁

bahahah.. baffled2's pic makes me laugh every time. If I'm eating with a friend at Taco Bell, i find it funny to tell a friend about how the tacos are really made 😉 Maybe the joke is the reason why they got rid of the Taco Bell dog!

Maybe yellowplastic can work for TacoBell's marketing dept.

When I lived in VT some years ago, there was a decent (for new england) Tex-Mex place in Burlington. The grad students I knew were thrilled however when a Taco Bell opened up. They were excited beyond belief that they were going to have "real" mexican food now. Go figure.

<< I just order the 3 crunchy taco meal normally, a meal for $4 not too bad >>

For a buck or two more(tops) you can get 3 REAL Tacos with REAL, freshly cooked meat, all fresh and not "weighed", at a great place near me called El Famous Burrito. 😀😀😀

I had lunch at Taco Bell today. A #1 witha Coke and hold the sour cream. I only eat there when I'm so hungry I have a headache and there isn't anyplace else around. The food is crap but it fills you up.

That's a horribly managed Taco Bell, then.

I've worked at two.

All of the meat and beans, etc is cooked by two guys that does nothing but cook the food. All of the food on the make line is handled with scoops and pie knives (for better measurement more than anything). The quality of the food is actually pretty fair and the way it's made is supposed to be really safe, unless of course you have a jack ass for a manager like your friend apparently had.

Hey... yakko has managed a couple Taco Bells... Let's get him in on thins. 😉

lol so true. lets take a gordita and dump it into the vat of oil! oh yea!! talk about gross, the gorditas are decently healthy to begin with...why ruin it.

just ate.. a club chalupa, 2 tacos, part of a mucho grande nacho, a tostado, and an enchirito.. oh.. and cinnimon twists.. i LOVE taco bell 😀
