Taco Bell vs.Taco Johns

I've just moved to an area that has Taco Johns fast food restaurants. I've never been to a Taco Johns before and I'm wondering if it's better than Taco Bell. (I know about the pubic hair tacos that two cops received.)

Are the Taco Johns products meatier and more substantive than Taco Bell's crappy offerings?

Men Charged with Putting Pubic Hair in Officer's Taco

How can you not like a place that offers Nachos Navidad and Potato Oles?

Taco Bell is cheap and faster for food, but I still prefer those mexican "taqueria" restaurants run by mexcians and made with REAL tortillas and ingredients.

I don't think it's so cheap anymore. They significantly raised their prices on the formerly $1.29 half-pound burritos and now their value menu is junk.

Taco Johns has Potato Oles, basically spiced hash browns. They are great, until the Taco Johns locally went under, I used to stop by there about once a week to get a cup full of them.

I think I'm definitely going to have to try the Potato Oles. They also have Potato Oles covered in nacho toppings. I have $1 off coupon for Super Potato Oles! I am so going to try that.

humm, there's a taco john's not too far from me. I may have to go check it out but I make my own with a mix from Mama Socorro's, pretty good for a store bought mix along with their salsa mix.

Never heard of Taco Time or Taco John's so you cannot compare them to Taco Bell which is an international chain and as we always know, international chains have less quality than local or regional chains. I don't get why people always try to compare the two.

I disagree. International Chains are just regional chains that excelled really well and grew. I don't think the size of the chain is relative to the quality of the chain.

Obscurity is always better. This holds true not just for food, but also for beverages, music, and internet browsers. The quality of anything is inversely related with the amount of people that use it. Everyone knows this.

Taco Bell > Taco Johns simply because nobody knows wtf a Taco Johns is. Thus TB > TJ. By that same logic - Walmart > Meijer Thrifty Acres because Meijer is only in the NE Midwest.

Facepalm.

Del Taco > Taco Bell in all cases personally. If given a choice, there is no reason to eat taco bell.

Except for the iPhone, it's the most popular and numerous and has the best quality of all phones.
