Closed beta invites were just handed out for Tabula Rasa today. Did anybody get in?

The gameplay appears to be that of a 3rd person shooter, so it's not all just click-n-wait. It might actually look like an mmorpg to be looking forward to.

Tabula Rasa is Richard Garriot's attempt at an MMO. For those that don't know, he is Lord British, creator of the Ultima games.

Unfortunately, TR looked interesting until they 're-envisioned' it into a 3rd person shooter style game. After that, I stopped following the game.

If anyone got an invite, please let us know how the game is though.

I guess this would be his 2nd MMO.

Ah crud, even if one of us did get into closed beta, the NDA would stop us from discussing it here...

What was up with that, were they not almost ready to enter beta testing when they redid the entire thing? NCsoft decide they want something far different to not cannibalize other products?

Not sure what the reasoning was, but I'll bet NCSoft did have some involvement.
