Tablet PCs

I really want one of these babies when I got to school next year. It's basically what I've dreamt of my ultimate educational tool to be: computer with pen feature for taking notes in class. In fact, this was one of my main reason for getting an Ipaq with Seiko's Smartpad.

Now some questions: Where can I find more informative info for these laptops?
Does anyone here have one? If so, could you share your insights?
What are the pitfalls?
...etc

So, what OS are you going to run?

I have a tablet PC... an old Win95 thing with a monochrome screen. I don't think anyone would want to take notes on one of these things. Ever try writing on the screen ofyour iPaq? It just doesn't work.

I use a similiar (if not the same) tablet pc that you're using Jellomancer A P233 w95, monochrome Hammerhead. But the new Tablet PCs are kick ass cool. Thinner than these by a slim margin, the handwriting recognition is a million times better, you can actually speak to it and have it recognize your speech properly.

From the demo's and reviews I've seen, the new TPC's rule. Worth the money to buy one, eh. I don't know 'bout that. 😛

You shouldn't have any problems finding info about Tablet PC's, they have been around for a long time now (despite MS's claims how it's a "brand-new MS innovation!"
