Tablet for streaming video and a stand

I did a quick search through this subforum, but I didn't see anything related to what I'm wondering about.

I'm thinking about getting a refurbished Kindle Fire HD ($200) for mainly streaming video from Amazon Prime or Netflix in the future, possibly with PLEX or another software from a PC. I'm open to other suggestions about price and viewing screen size, but the Fire HD seemed pretty good for both values.

I'm also interested in a stand to suspend that tablet overhead in bed. I've seen some on Amazon, but they frequently have reviews about either not fitting various tablets besides iPads or having poor construction, especially where the tablets are held. So far, without going into hundreds of dollars, these two seem pretty good ($70 and $30). Ideally, it would be something like either of those and not just a stand for the tablet to rest on the bed.

Anyone have any feedback for what I'm interested in?

Depends... what's your budget, and what screen size are you looking at? Also, do you think you'll be doing much besides video?

$250 is as high as I want to go for the tablet. I'd rather stay under $100 for the stand. This is pretty much just for video and light web-browsing.
