Tablet and USB Audio interface?

I'm a tablet newbie - don't even have one yet 🙂 so bare w/ me.
We plan to take our music on the road and are looking for a dependable mobile device to play high quality stereo backing tracks for us.
We currently have this interface and I was wondering if such a device would play nice with a tablet.
 
I'm not exactly sure what that is... But some Windows 8 tablets have full sized USB ports. I was able to plugin my Corsair Vengeance 2000 wireless USB headphones into that USB port on the Samsung Ativ Smart PC 500 (or whatever the long ass name was) and listen to sounding audio that way.

If that device requires any drivers to be installed (it has Windows and OSX logos at the bottom), then you'll probably need to have a Windows tablet to use that thing.
