table or booth?

  • Give me a table!

  • Booth all the way!

  • I don't give a mouse's tit where I sit

  • Whatever's closest to the shitter please... there may be an emergency

Another disadvantage of booths (aside from middle person needing to get out) is the fact that you might have a douchebag in a booth behind you.

I like Tables. I HATE being shoved against a wall or enclosed spaces. And I hate having to get out of my seet because the person sitting next to me has to take a piss every 10 minutes. 90% of the time, I'll choose a table over a booth. Now, if it's just 2 people, then a booth isn't too bad, but 3 or more people, table is pretty much always better.

You go into a restaurant, and the host/hostess asks you table or booth? Which do you pick?

I prefer booths except, when available, with four people, a square table with one person on each side works better for conversation.

We normally eat at the bar. No wait time and faster drinks.

I generally do this, and really like it, when I'm dining solo and/or if I'm in an izakaya, most other scnearios I prefer an actual table of some sort.
