Sukhoi, I thought of that as I wrote it, but what the heck! I know you can display different amounts of messages per page and I'm only 1st in my own mind, kind of like being a legend in one's own mind, sort of like Barbara Steisand, I don't like the direction this is taking so I'm ending it now! 😀

Smokeball, I'm sure he will be back by the time I'm ready to do some more, we will get it done very soon.

Just thought I'd let you know that I'm running Seti on a p2 300 laptop now. Only problem is that its taking about 23hrs/WU. I just wanted to try out setique. I'm running the screensaver with it going blank after 5 minutes. Is this reall slow?
I would run it on my celeron 875 (once I finish my 500k block goal on rc5) but its submitting units after 1 minute work. I don't know why. I have already clocked it down and it seems stable. This has happened before and I have switched my ram from this happened before. Don't know whats wrong. Guess it'll stay doing rc5 considering that celerons aren't that good at seti
 
When you want to start doing Seti just check back in. We will help you get cranking WUs at the top of your equipment's capability. 🙂
 
Sounds good. Will probably let Seti run on my laptop at least until the end of the month. I may try to get my roommmates laptop running it too since it doesn't get used at all.
 
We would like to have you and your friend join the TeAm. 🙂

I joined TA seti over 2 years ago when there were under 100 members. And of course my roommates computers have always cracked under my email 🙂

Hey guys...just checking in. Sorry I haven't got to my latest list yet, but my cable modem service has been spotty at best. Re your PII 300.
My 2nd in command runs a PII 333 @ 374 running SETI GUI for me,which does WU's in about 19-20 hrs ,so your 23hrs seems about right.
I'm in the process of switching his fleet to the much faster text version using SETIDriver (his PIII 500 was switched today🙂),you could also run SETIDriver if your not hooked on seeing the graphics 😉.It is also possible to have a 'blank screen' screen saver to (re)start SETIDriver if needed.
You'd gain the ability to store WU's as well as running a faster client🙂.Check out my sig for a link to it.
