We are trying to consolidate queues and update the queue list to ensure that the queues listed are accurate and active. As many of you know, the biggest queue, originally hosted by Orange Kid, has gone off line permanently and the host/domain name has been forwarded to Smokeball's Team-Smokeball queue.

Over the past year, the queue list has been whittled down as people post to say that they have withdrawn their queues from the list for whatever reason. We thank you all for giving your time and resources when the TeAm needed it the most. 😀

Throughout the various recent queue threads, a number of current queue operators have checked in. I'd like to hear from the rest of you to see whether you plan to continue your queue for the TeAm or what.

Haven't heard from:

MaxSiren - Maxie dear, I can't get to your queue! :Q 🙁
Magicman - I know you pop in and out infrequently but hope you see this to confirm - can't get to yours either. 🙁
ReaganCRW - I know you also pop in and out and I can't get to your queue. 🙁
ThePit - Are you still interested? 😕

All - please check in with your favorite nef so that we can get an accurate accounting. 🙂 I want to clean up the list by March 1st so that we can give TeAm members a full and accurate accounting.

The Federation Queue is basically mine too - but Engineer still handles the DNS on that.

Got a question. I have some completed WUs to transmit, but need to find a new queue. Should I set up a new folder with SETI Driver and download one new WU then transmit the others, since if I try and switch it to the new queue with the completed WUs it will try and transmit them right away? Or will it download a new one first? I have not done much with SETI lately, just let it run and upload, I cannot remember what order it does its tasks in. 😱
 
If you're using SetiDriver, then you could edit the SetiDriver.cfg manually to remove the line that says -auto.

Then, when you open SetiDriver, it won't try to send it automatically. Just change the proxy info, hit on Save config, then it'll transmit using the new queue 🙂

Feel free to use my queue, there's no one else using it, and my bandwidth is available for the TeAm 🙂

I know you can't tell if there is a new post to the Team Anandtech Public SETI Queues: Part IV thread which is locked at the top of the DC Forum so all the "Q Operators" need to remember to check it from time to time.

Just asked for some volunteers in that thread. Check it out. 😉

 
Mine has been going for over a yerar and I still have only 2 users, it sould be able to handle at least 20 users, maybe double that, no prob.

paf007.dns2go.com:5517 Greg is picking up the redirection off OK's queue but it should be redistributed evenly
to all the TeAm's public queues.

We should get this sorted out ASAP!

I'm not sure what happened to MaxSiren's queue. I haven't been around much for half a year or so, but his queue went down a long time ago and I haven't seen him around. Does he still post here?
 
Thanks Shux and I haven't seen Max in awhile, although he was fairly active with keeping his queue status updated until recently. 😕

Well... I will give folks a bit more time. I have a deadline to respond by March 1 and then I'll update the list and clear the dead queues.

I will be away all next week at training and may not be able to access the net during that time. I am due to return on that Sat. March 1, so hopefully you guys will bump this along to see if anyone else posts.

Appreciate EVERYONE'S assistance! 😀
 
I have a SETI queue running at home for my home machines and some friends... 🙂
