Btw guys it seems I solved the mystery of UT locking up my PC ,since switching from OpenGL to D3D it hasn't crashed once.Of course I've lost the hi res textures

Hey mate ,I can give you a Voodoo 1 if you like ,they'll play UT & Q3 as long as you don't try a resolution higher than 512x384! ,with your K6-2+ you're getting you'll be able to play those alright
Only thing is I need to test it because I'm not sure if it works

Btw there are 3 new maps added to the list ,biggest is 1.6Mb ,so shouldn't take too long to download.
Though I have set the max client rate to 7000 bytes per second.....that's 7k/s ,right? ,so the largest one should take about 3 3/4mins to download with broadband.Hmm ,a bit of a disadvantage ,especially if you need textures too!.
Ah well it's a one off ,lmk if your not happy with that.

Ok I've removed the new maps ,it was very borderline as to whether you could get the maps in time!
Because of the Old Skool mod I've installed recently you may still need to download olweapons.u file ,this is about 1.2Mb.I suggest you wait until a new game has just started

Just a little earlier there had been no one else in so we decieded to have a little co-op game.It was only when that started we saw you had joined the DM!
