I'll be adding one more computer (i7) as soon as I get a decent power supply for it. (I don't think my apartment can handle the power output beyond that :shocked🙂

looks like i'll be going with the Corsair CMPSU-850HX A ... which i can pick up at my local Microcenter.. and it's in stock 😀
 
I'm all in on Seti but quite a few of the TAS crunchers will ramp up soon for the gauntlet I would guess. 😉

I may try to get cuda/Seti working on my 2 linux boxes this weekend but I'm not optimistic. Apparently I may have to roll back my kernel to an earlier version and I don't want to do that since it will cause other problems.

with only a 9600 gso you could get away with something a lot cheaper than that. I'm using an earthwatts 430 with my mom's Q6600 oc'd to 3.4, it's been going strong for about 18 mos now.


My q9450 has been crunching away with no monitor/internet for several days, but the new monitor should be arriving today. Hopefully will see a spike tomorrow.
 
My computers should be producing a lot more than 5-6K per day in SETI. I guess I'll have to go around and "boot" them into submission... 🙂

actually... that power supply is for my main system... the power supply currently in my main system (pc power & cooling 750) will go in the new i7.
