T3 = greatest sequel ever

BTW, was the monkey good or evil? I didn't figure it out. It was funny when Arnold tried to eat it.
The monkey was definitely chaotic neutral. I mean, just look at what he was typing out in the bash shell when the military was trying to regain control!

As for the movie as a whole, it was a sequel. Yeah, I also felt <something> was missing, but I can't say what was missing without throwing out a potential spoiler. 😛

I really really really like this movie. I was pleasantly surprised.
T2 felt more 'real', it had more of a human/humanity aspect to it. T3 had lots of action and a better written script. Why Mr. Cameron did not want to direct this I don't understand. With his directing this movie would have easily surpassed T2. The ending was kcufing fantastic - very solid, the very end of the movie had a good humanity aspect to it IMO but it was missing throughout the rest of the movie.

One of the few movies that I would see again... well, except for 1 horrible line (i'm sure everyone knows what the line is... no? guess)

?

This is awesome. I'm glad there are soo many positive reviews. I can't wait to see it now!

BTW, if there ARE any monkeys, cyber-pigeons, or killer ants.......oh man, I'm gonna send you all to ATOT Hell! 😛

Major areas where the movie fell short:

1. There is no scoring, at all, except for the closing credits. Instead, for a soundtrack, the producer seems to have a fetish with overdone explosions.
2. The blond chick that plays the TX... is she unable to act or what? I guess that's why they practically gave her a non-speaking role. She has maybe 10 lines in the entire movie, none of them more than 2 words except for "I like your car" and "I like your gun".
3. Plot/pseudotechnical inconsistencies.... can't go into too much detail on these without some spoilage.

Agreed completely! I noticed the huge list of sound effect workers. Yea.. some things do make you think.. but I can't go too much into details without spoiling.

I watched it on the 2nd,I couldn`t belive they put a damn monkey in there, but it turned out to be a great movie 🙂

Too late = stoned college kids....I hate stoned college kids.

What's your beef with us? Me and my friends are damned well behaved. We rarely leave campus to see a movie in an actual theatre, so we... *ahem* PREP for the experience before we leave. If it's a comedy we might laugh more, but with actions or dramas we don't make a peep, we're too enthralled.

W00t! Just came home. T3 was really good!!! Everyone should watch this movie. A worth sequal indeed. 🙂

I just wish they had more nudity with the TX. She has a great ass. 😀😀

Just saw it, was pretty good. Had you in suspense pretty much from start to finish, however, the ending made you think there would be a sequel however many things that were said during the movie contradict that...guess we'll just wait and see...

I thought it was awesome...seemed exactly the same as T2 though but with an upgraded machine. There needed to be more naked shots of that chick though. She was pretty killin...

Anyways, for those of you who complain about people commenting or being loud. Is it rude to make dumb comments while waiting for the movie and during the previews? We always shut up during the actual movie but during the commercials and previews and things we always make dumb comments. Like at AMC there's this thing where silence is golden and theres a whole bunch of people talking and a baby crying and right before it goes silent we all slap our hands and one of us yells shut up kid like we slapped the little kid crying and it shut up. Anyways, we were sitting there watching T3 yesterday and there was some Nike commercial and at the end there's this bullet train flying by and they show the swoosh. At the end we were like...they sell trains! Some guy in front of us got pissed and goes shut the f*ck up already...

Do you guys get pissed when people talk up to the movie starting?

I just saw it. EXCELLENT. By far my favorite of the three films. The difference?? This one never dragged on. And the ending was awesome too.

no i just get pissed at people making lame comments like that, doesn't matter what the situation is

there were so many jokes pulled on the other movies in the series, was quite comical compared to the others.

kristanna is fooking hot!

it was OK...i liked t2 lots better...they shoulda made it more dramatic w/ the humanity aspect of it and all..the ending should be more dramatic and ......k i won't spoil it....all in all it was alright..enjoyable...but T2 was better IMHO........T2's ending was superb....the road that leads to a uncertain future......

well as with the other "hunting" terminators, they dont' say much. do you remember the t1000 making witty remarks?

course a legally blond terminatrix would be quite frightening🙂

it was crap, like all the other summer movies they have out. Just spend couple million to blow up stuff and pass it off as a movie...america nowadays...

IMO- there *will* be a T4, watch the movie and you'll see hints of that.

T3 was great, i watched it yesterday!

T3 wasn't great. it was good.

for the next sequels, i agree, but they need to shoot the next three like how they shot matrix and lotr. shoot all three at once, and release for later.

The T-X did not get nearly enough character development. Robert Patrick got to do a lot more with his character, but they were working with more screen time, too. (Edited out due to spoilers). All of that being said, I enjoyed the movie immensely, possibly more than any I have seen so far this summer. I did not look at my watch once the whole time, which is a good sign in my book.

EDIT: BTW, am I the only one that HATED that damn monkey? Fricking Jar Jar Binks all over again, "Let's throw in some stupid cartooney character to appeal to the kiddie market!" :|

Yep, can't believe they did the monkey gag, I mean of all the life forms to copy for the newest Terminator, why use a chimp? Course it worked, when John Connor saw it in the Vet's office it caught him completely unaware...

The mods the female TX did when she saw the billboard was pretty cool.

So far the best movie this summer, cept for the monkey.

It was good but the humor was out of place and ridiculous.

I'm going to see T3 tonight. Alone. 🙁
IMHO, that's the best way to see movies. Nobody to talk to, nobody to talk to you. AMC Theatre's phrase is awesome: Please, don't spoil the movie by adding your own soundtrack. Silence is Golden! 🙂

I am trying to decide on what time to go. Too early = damn kids...I hate kids. Too late = stoned college kids....I hate stoned college kids.

I wonder if they will do a special showing: just for me, w/the volume cranked to max. 😀

Right, you're the deaf, stupid guy...

Watched it yesterday with the kids...good movie with a definite sequel coming soon starring "the legally frightening blond terminatrix." LOL!😀
