T2 extreme dvd

Just got back from Best Buy and after spending 20 minutes opening up 6 dvds(for$60 no less) I was going to check out the T2 in HD, and wondering if its possible to watch it w/o the installing the interactual player I thought since it was
wm9 encoded wmp9 would play it

If i remember correctly the requirements were all crazy for the extra stuff on the DVD's. My friend has them and he thought they were joking about the requirements when he bought it.

you dont need to install the player.

there is a .exe file on the dvd you need to execute then you can just play the files in wmp.

I dld some demos and it was a little stuttery, but just wanted to check it out

its not that extreme, atleast from the demo vids on ms's website. i could play it on 2.4ghz athlon. course there were other vids at higher bitrates i couldn't play.

you know what the executable is? looked theres a bunch of 'em

its dvdrun.exe the wmv files are in \common\win\lang\en\t2x\esource
