T1 router compatibility?

I pretty new when it comes to routers...but my friend is moving into an apartment that has a T1 line and he's thinking of getting a wireless router...my question is, are all routers compatible with a T1 line or do you have to get a special router? Thanks in advance.

Once the T1 hits the main gateway router (probably controlled by the apratment complex), everything after that is jus' plain ol' Ethernet and has no magic whatsoever.
