Possibly, although IMHO Mark Rubio (freshman Florida Senator) is more likely; he brings more to the table than Pawlenty.
Rubio is too new for anyone to pick, unless they are fighting for Florida.

Look for them to pick a middle of the road candidate who can help win moderates and independents. Someone from Ohio would be a good choice or Florida.

Someone like McCain might not be a bad idea. Well known and well liked and lots of experience. Could provide some foreign policy balance in the way that Biden did for Obama.
