if you are houston, go with cingular...
my family uses t-mobile, but my gf and i use cingular...i didn't really think too much of it, and both seemed about teh same...
wasn't until the hurricane rita evacuations...my whole family who was using t-mobile were getting circuit buys, and unable to completes on ALL their calls - within and outside of the t-mobile network...
my gf and i, who were using cingular coudl make and receive calls without a hitch, within and outside the cingular network.
after that experience, i'm telling my parents to switch once their contract runs out. for them, they count on their cell phones for emergencies, and i think t-mobile really dropped the ball
