I am about to build a system for internet, school, photo, occational video and occational game use and I'm torn between the ASUS A7A266 or EPOX 8K7A. I've decided on a T-bird 1.4GHz, IBM deskstar 45GB, 512MB DDR 2100 & CDR-W/DVD. What is the general consensus on these two motherboards? Any other suggestions that would be better?

I cant speak about the Epox, But I do have a A7A266, If you want my honest opinoin skip the A7A, yes it is an asus product, but its got EXTREMLY poor overclocking features and still costs around $130, besides those two strikes its almost BY FAR the worst performance DDR solution on the market right now. *IF* I were you I would go with something other then the A7A. I should be recieving 2 brand new ECS K75SA's in the Mail today these boards look hot! especially if your not a severe overclocker. and you can find them for about $70 all over the net (I got mine for 64!!!)

thats just my 2 cents.
