T-BIRD 1.33GHz + SK6 = 52 degrees???

i have a spare pc with a 1.33GHz t-bird and an thermalright sk6 w/60mm delta fan. i'm using arctic silver 3 compound but my idle temp is 52 degrees celcius. thats kinda high even for a t-bird isn't it?

and what is ambient system temp with that chip?

the mobo is an ASUS A7M266.

i don't have the ability to check ambient case temp. but i do have a vantec slot cooler + 2 stacked 80mm fans blowing out and i have 2 bay fans + the front 80mm fan sucking in.

for that MB, 52C idle isn't too hot.

the temp is dropping... 51 degrees now...

... i can feel the Arctic Silver 3 ooooOOOoooozing into the crevices... ahhhh....

LOL. My P3 reached 52C at one point... when it was 80F room temp...but the case temp went up from 22C to 25C.
