SystemWorks 2001 on Me Pro problem...

When installing Works 2001 on an Me Pro I got a message during installation that said System\currentcontrolset\control\virtual devicedrivers. VDD. Virtual Device driver format in the registry is invalid. I went for the Ignore option that was available and the install continued OK. The problem is that AntiVirus auto protect won't run and I get the same message when I try to manually turn it on. Any ideas or direction to point me in ?
