Systems rig thing doesn't really work...

After adding a rig to the systems rig page, a page comes up and says "add this link to your forums signature so people can see your rig" but the thing is, when you add that link and you click it in your profile, it doesn't work... This needs to be updated so people add the proper link to their sig.

Ugh, I already know my link for my rigs works but the page you get when you add a system give a url to the rigs page which happens to not work. So I ask for anand or chris to fix this issue so others don't have that problem as well....

When you put a link to your rig in your signature, make sure you link to the page with the specs. The URL should have "mysystemrig.aspx" followed by a "?rigid=12345".

For example, Son of a N00b's link is wrong, it has only the "id": http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.html?id=30461

However, it can be changed. All you have to do is add the "rig" in front of the "id" and it will link directly to the specs page.
http://www.anandtech.com/mysystemrig.html?rigid=30461

I suggest Son of a N00b and everyone else do that. Mouse over your link and check it.

That's good info man. "Sigh" seems like about 75% of the time when I click these links I get the "My Anandtech" page".

Worse, they keep insisting it works fine :disgust: Good to know how to fix
