System wont boot(is it my ultra ram?)

I'm running a system with:

K8n neo4 ms7125 ver 2.0
AMD FX-55 processor
2 sticks of Ultra 1Gb DDR 400mhz ram
Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 250GB Serial ATA II
and some old POS videocard from diamond
Ultra ATX 400 Watt power supply

When I put it all together and tried to start her up, all I got was a brief flash from the power LED.

I discovered that Ultra ram is not listed as a supported type of ram, but I'd heard nothing but good things about ram compatibility.

Can anyone give me some educated guess as to where I should start trying to solve my problem?

I would start by getting the cheapest stick of supported ram and getting you rig to post and work from there.

Probably will have to spend about 20-30$

I had a DS3 that I had to do that with in order to flash the bios to get it to support my OCZ ram.
