My 2 month old GA-965P/E6400/XPSP2 did a bluescreen shutdown this morning after it was on for about 1/2 hour. Now it won't boot when powered up - 1 beep, hard drive spin up, Gigabyte logo start screen pops up - then nothing. It bluescreened once before about 6-weeks ago but worked fine after that. The last changes were installation of an old game [Quake III Arena] and latest Windows XP update at shutdown last night. The bluescreen system info was 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x894699E0, 0x89469854, 0x805D1140) - [I don't what that stuff refers to but figure it must mean something to someone].

I'm letting it cool down now. If it restarts, I'll try to uninstall game, maybe uninstall the Windows update, and maybe roll back to yesterday's system configuration - if it restarts.

I'd appreciate suggestions on how to proceed.

i'd roll back the update first. I updated the driver for my vid card once and when it restarted the monitor wouldn't work at all so even though those updates say they're for your computer sometimes they don't work properly.
