Just installed a new Epox 8KTA3L . I've tried 2 seperate cpu's, but the fans only spin for a second, and only if I clear the cmos jumper. If I take out the cpu, everything turns on. I've reset memory and video. All jumpers, switch settings are set to default. Any ideas, suggestions fokes?....thanks.

This is a reach, but I had a similar experience sometime back. The pin one designation on the motherboard was incorrect.I turned the chip 90 degrees, and all was well. This was an older setup, and pin configurations are much different now,but thats the only time I have experienced anything similar.:)

Strip it down to powersupply, motherboard, cpu....what happens?

If it beeps but fans spin and there is constant power, turn off and add memory, turn on again

If it beeps but fans spin and there is constant power, turn off and add the video card, turn on again.
