I apologize if this is not the right forum to post it to. Moderator : move it to the correct one please if I'm not in the correct forum.

I was wondering if you guys do make a use of the system restore feature, I currently set it at 4% of my HDD. but never had to restore once yet. Your experience and comments are welcome.
 
I think it's very handy. When some of the not so smart people at work get spyware, crap, etc.... it takes about 5 minutes to roll back to non-spyware version of their pc.

Guess I posted it in the correct forum, just wondering about the system restore, there is no point, like amongst 100's of the threads out there. 🙂
 
But yes...I have useed System Restore on several occaisions.....and I love it to death.
 
Yeah, I set it lower too. Whenever I get a computer, I do a fresh install of Windows and create a Norton Ghost backup disc set for it. Then, I run maintenance programs weekly for it, such as Adaware, Spybot, Disk Defragmenter, etc. I restore the Ghost image every month or two to clean things out (I work on a lot of projects with different software and find it's easier just to start from a clean slate).
