ive seen soad 3 times and i did not like them at all through any of them went to a godsmack and soad show(free tickets) and i almost fell asleep, they are just lame as hell.i dunno why i just cant like their music, as for disturbubed they are a joke. ozzfest 2000: disturbed is on the second stage with songs of that album that is still their first, ozzfest 2001: they headline the second stage! wowee, way to go guys! everyone in the crowd was telling them what songs to play, i felt bad for them

Someone sounds bitter....
 
This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but why does everyone feel the need to show how "hardcore" they are by saying stuff like "disturbed is so weak" or "yea, they are okay if you're looking for mainstream, commercial sissy music"? I mean just because you don't like them doesn't mean others don't like them and think the music you listen to is weak or sucks ass.

Just because Disturbed isn't the hardest music out there doesn't mean they don't make decent music, albeit a bit softer than SOAD.

It just strikes me as funny because you guys don't even realize it but you are the mainstream, and spewing lines like the ones above just prove that point. It seems everyone and their brother thinks it's cool to hate any band that is doing well and thinks that by downing them they will seem as though they are the most hardcore of metalheads. It's just so uncool.

Get over it, you are not part of the underground, because there is no underground anymore, and you're making yourselves sound like fools trying to sound as though you've been into metal since it's conception and know what true metal is. Get over it already. Like I said, this isn't directed at any particular member here.
