System not powering up

I have a system that does not even power up. No lights. no display.
My first guess would be power supply..... does any one have any other suggestions
before I start yanking out the power supply.

check all your cables and your jumper settings. it might be something simple like a loose header. after checking all you cables check your rams and your cpu. make sure they are in there tight. then check the back of your power supply. make sure that it is on 110v and not 220v.

check if the power is connected completely to the mobo...it might have gotten knocked off or gotten loose...

Unplug the power supply from the motherboard and then plug it in again

It was indeed the power supply. I just replaced the power supply and the system appears to be working fine. Thanks for your input anyway.
