I've got a 1.3 Athalon on a Gigabyte 7zmmh mainboard with 256 ram, along with a 20gig 5400 W/D hd, its got a 100 zip, a 52x creative cd and a mitsumi 24x cdrw cd installed. The HD and the Mitsumi are on one EIDEchannel and the creative and the zip on the other. This system will work just fine for awhile and then it either locks up or the zip drive disappears entirely from the system. Restarting the machine will bring the Zip back but the machine will sonetimes run very slow. The temperature of the machine is 51c/123f on the cpu and 34c/93f on the system with the cpu fan running at 5800 rpms.

I don't know if these temps are out of line but I've run out of idea's , anybody got some suggestions?This system is running Win 98
