Hello all,

I am currently running only a 1ghz Athlon....but here is my issue. It is only running at 700mhz because the mobo is only running at 100mhz bus. When I switch the multipliers over to 133 so that the cpu runs at 1000, when I go to boot up the computer, it hangs right before it is detecting all my drives. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if I need to supply any more details...thanks...oh, my mobo is a DFI AK76-SN

What kinda mem do you have? Do you have memory that is rated for a slower mhz?

to be honest, no I haven't. What is the easiest way to do one?. Cause I am only running the one stick, so I can't swap out or anything like that. Also, a while back someone suggested to me that it could be my drives and that they think one of them mayb be ATA-100 or something like that.

The hdd could be a problem. But it should work at 33.

People use MEMTEST86 Found Here!

You can try this. This MIGHT not be the problem. But it's always good to rule out one thing at a time. And this is a good way to rule out Memory.
