system issue after installing game

I installed UT99 on my system last week ( windows 7 x 64 ) and everytime I tried to get it to play the video would be screwed up - the screen size would be half way between screen one and screen two across my monitors and i couldnt figure out how to fix it. I gae up on that for a bit and last night I went to run Urban Terror , which had previously run just fine on that system . Now that game too shows the same display issue . I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and removed and reinstalled the nvidia drives for the 8800GS and Im still getting the same result. All other non game screen show up just fine. Has anyone ever seen this before?
 
I would probably ask in the video/monitor forums. Plus they are going to probably want system specs of some sort.
 
how can i get this moved to the video forum?

Also , Ive never had to disable the 2nd display in the past, and dont have to on another machine

specs are as follows:
AMD Athlon X2 6000+
4GB DDR2
8800GS 512 RAM
Windows 7
