I recently got a new motherboard/processor combo. The motherboard is an M810LR using SiS 730S chipset. The processor is a Duron 1Ghz. I have 768MB PC133 RAM. I am presently using the onboard video but am installing a TNT2 video card when it arrives in the next few days. I have installed 2 different operating systems on this thing but it still freezes up ALL the time. There are no error messages, nothing in the event viewer and I can find nothing abnormal. I have disabled the onboard sound, MIDI, USB, Game port, replaced the RAM and re-loaded my OS, all which have had no affect. I was thinking that the problem could be my processor but I ran benchmarks on it and it appears to be functioning normally. It runs between 85 and 105 degrees. It also seems to be worse when I first start it in the morning as I have to hit the reset button a few times to get it to even boot up. Does anyone have any suggestions on where else I can look? This is kicking my butt. My email address is hmcidc@comcast.net. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Bill
