"System Fail CPU Test"

I have an Asus A8V Deluxe motherboard with an AMD Processor. Everytime I turn the computer on, a voice comes on saying, "System Fail CPU Test." After 4 or 5 tries it comes on and runs fine. If anyone has a solution to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

You can turn that silly voice off in BIOS. It sometimes just gets confused.

Are you OC'd?

What are BIOS settings for CPU & ram (i.e., is ram insynch with the cpu).

Have you tried clearing the CMOS?

I didn't clear the CMOS. Also, I don't know what my BIOS settings are. How can the ram be insynch with the cpu? I don't know what you mean by that

My bad, I thought your rig was diff, just checked google.

So, forget the ram insynch thingy. Not important for you.

Do try clearing the CMOS.

Might wanna grab free some proggie and check what speed you cpu is running too, or you can look in BIOS.

For free utility proggies go over to majorgeeks.com
