what do you mean by crashing? are you getting an error message you can exit out of. Or is the computer hardlocking?
im thinking that you may have a Heat issue. But it could also be a problem with the OS

Mine also does this, but only when I use U160 SCSI and U160 drives.
My system is Iwill KT266R-Plus
Still cant figure out why. Everything works find with onboard IDE.

Could also be overheating - are you clocked out of spec? All your fans working? Hot day?

Did it work before, or is it a new system?

It's not OC at all, its not the cooling, have several fans installed CPU temp 42 degrees C 107 Degrees F
My conclusion is that it could be the power supply, it's a noname 300w..

I jst riased the agp Voltage, lowered the memory to sync
disabled fast writes and agp 8X, seems better now..

but still, i want all the juice it can give, will have tp buy a new Power supply I guess
