my system seems to be perfectly stable, can leave it running for hours and it never crashes. However when I go into half-life (cstrike) it runs fine up to the point I try to exit back to my desktop... at this point my desktop is frozen and for about 20-30 seconds my mouse works but then the system beeps and I have no mouse movement. NumLock works on my keyboard but that's it... CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't do anything. I had winamp playing the last time and it continued to run despite my system being frozen (to me). This crash happens every single time I exit. I'm not sure if this is a video driver issue, issue with half-life or what?

512MB Crucial DDR
SB Audigy Platinum
Geforce 3 (beta 22.80 ... pretty sure my system crashes with other drivers.. but I'm going to test it some more)
Windows XP Home (have all current updates)
I'm running half life v. 1.1.0.8
