I have an Asus P4T-E, 512MB RAM, 1.8Ghz P4, Geforce 3, Sony 52X CDROM, Seagate 40GB HDD, SB Live!, Linksys NIC all running on WinXp Pro. After running 3dmark2k1 in a loop for about an hour and a half(with nothing overclocked)the frame rates start to CHUG. Dropping down to 9fps on some tests on the default settings. Anyone know what could be causeing this? I have a Lian Li case which has a very nice airflow system so I'm pretty sure heat isn't the problem. I also have a Tt Volcano cooler on my processor so that's good to go. I opened my case while it was running to make sure that ALL of my fans were working as well. Oh, almost forgot, 350w Ennermax power supply. This problem is driving me nuts because nothing on my system is overclocked. Can anyone help? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
I ran motherboard monitor 5 and all the temps and rpm speeds on the fans are good. Temp on the cpu didn't break 112 degrees under full load. It started to happen around test #68 in the loop. Guess that leaves my videocard. gonna check that out and see if everything is ok.
