Wondering how many SA or BA's are out here and how much do these guys make ?
I was thinking of a career change. Into Software Developing for quite some time now, thinking of a change. Is it the way to go ?

I make about 65k a year. Been in the IT profession for about 6 years now. The field has been very stagnant since the .com bust. Here in the Northeast, there's still a surplus of IT types.

I make like close to 6 figures and was thinking that SA/BA's might make way to much.
Surprising that they don't.

Senior SA/BA's will make closer to six figures. Junior and mid-level BA's will make in $65k range.

I took a lot of sytems analysis classes in college when I got my MIS degree, but never did anything with it once I graduated. What do you guys do exactly? How did you get into it?

I got offers around 65K to start, and after two years they will pay for business school then you can start making the big bucks.

MBA

In NYC SBAs make 100-120k. I am a developer and make about that, so not much incentive for me to go to the dark side.

Yeah...that's one of the directions I'm thinking about heading. Not sure if I want to head the SA/BA route or DBA.
