My dad wants to buy my little bro a new pc for around 1200 bucks. I have a ton of coupon codes from dell, but I really want to get a system with an amd 64. Any suggestions?

My dad just wants something with warranty. Im not really home alot so they dont want to rely on me if theres a problem.
 
Well I know a few folks that have had good experiences with iBuyPower they seem to have good systems at reasonable prices. Any particular reason why he needs a 64 bit CPU though?

Its going to be just for games (city of heros, hl2) and hw. AMD 64's are typically better for gaming, but then again I dont think my brother would notice a difference like I would. Im glad you brought up ibuypower, I didnt know if they were good or not.

They are up in the same price range as alienwares though. I guess I'll just use all my coupon codes on a lower end XPS system from dell. Probably the cheapest way to go without sacrificing performance.

have a pc from ibuypower at work; no problem with hardware in 2 years so i havent had to test tech support. price was good though, as i recall
