System beeps

When my cpu is under load there are intermitant beeps coming from the system speaker.I have checked the temps and voltage readings while this happens and they are normal. I benchmarked the system for almost 2 hours with Sisoft Sandra and the beeps would star only during the CPU arithmetic and CPU multi media part of the session.
system specs
P4 2.4(800fsb) northwood
Abit IS7 Bios ver 22
OCZ premier D/C pc3200 512 mb
WD sata 80gb
Enermax 460w psu
CD-RW 52x32x52
CD-rom 52x
Zalman CNPS7000 alcu

the 2 things I can think of...

1. overheating
2. voltages out of spec (perhaps your PSU isn't operating right but that enermax is pretty solid I think)
