This is my system. I plan to sell it (not on here...but I don't know how much to ask for it.)

Athlon XP 2500+ can run 200FSB @ 3000+ at 100% stability.
Enermax 350W PSU
1gb Crucial PC3200
ATI AIW 9800 Pro
60gb Western Digital 8mb cache 7200rpm
40gb Maxtor 2mb cache 7200rpm
DVD/CD Drive
CDRW Drive

Mods: If this is in the wrong place...please move, don't lock

If the OP just simply asked hey how much do you think this rig is worth now, without saying he was going to sell it, he probably would have received a price amount.

I would say he could get $200 out of it (maybe)

It's not that bad of a system, but I'm sure he could get more than $200...

Price your components as if you were buying them new, don't forget the case. What is the amount you came up with?

Now discount that amount based on age of system, old or new technology, etc. What are new pre-built systems going for with a similar configuration?

That would be a starting point.

Man I wish I had some people like you around here to sell some stuff to.

My buddy just sold his Celeron 2.0 GHz with motherboard on eBay for $85... the things sux compared to my 2500+. You'll get a lot for it on eBay, the AXPs are still pretty popular there. I can't believe what people buy there sometimes..!
