something just doesn't seem right about this video... 1, why does the kid have the gun? 2, why didn't the camera guy warn the guy or try taking the gun away?

One explanation I read was that the father took the magazine from the gun, but forgot to check for an extra round in the chamber. That's probably why the camera man did not warn the guy and thought that the gun was harmless.

Saw a guy at a gun show in Austin blow his middle knuckle out with a 9mm hi-power.....he had removed the mag but forgot the one in the chamber....he was showing a customer "how smooth" the trigger pull was.........a 9mm going off in a closed room sure enough puts a ringing in your ears for a while......

Daaaamn, that was a high-caliber gun. Looked like more than 9mm to me - you don't get an all-metal gun in 9mm.

People like that should never be allowed to carry a weapon. Or even be near one.

It's not clear whether the kid took the gun from his father without the father knowing. It's hard to tell whether the father was looking down to see the kid with the gun because you don't see the father's head in the video.

gun shows here in az have these sand boxes in front for unloading your firearm before entering. you point it at the sand in case it goes off during the process. how that guy got thru with a loaded one is beyond me, since at the gate they make sure you have your slide locked open and mag out before they shove a zip tie in it so you cant reload. they wont let you in otherwise. being caught without the zip tie inside is like getting caught cheating in vegas.

It was his personal "protection" gun and he had a trade table there and dropped the clip out of it when he entered the building and forgot the minor detail of emptying the chamber. This guy was goofier than a sprayed roach and he put the muzzle flat against his hand and pulled the trigger to show a customer how "smooth" the trigger was on his carry gun. I was standing about 6 feet away and heard the boom and a fine mist of blood settled on everything for about 4 foot around him.

Putting it between his eyes would have probably strengthened the gene pool for all of us. 😀
