This is why religion and government shouldn't be mixed. At all.

This is sort of like saying, "religion and religion shouldn't be mixed", because belief in government is very much akin to religious beliefs. Both are entirely faith-based and absent of reason.

As Fred Woodworth said:

If human beings are fundamentally good, no government is necessary; if they are fundamentally bad, any government, being composed of human beings, would be bad also.
Belief in "good government" is just as ludicrous as belief in the existence of mystical beings.

'Nihilistic bullshit'

You may think that feudal anarchy and theological oppression are the highest evolution of the self governance of man. I do not.

You may think that feudal anarchy...

Yes, how terrible it is to aspire to live in a society without rulers. Liberty, freedom, and personal responsibility are such terrible concepts!

Long live government! Long live the nanny state! Long live the delusion of giving other people a monopoly on the use of aggressive force and hoping they don't abuse it!

LOL.

LOL. This is pretty rich, especially coming from the guy who just said:

And your evidence for this claim, that the United States went to war in Iraq for the primary purpose of "getting Saddam", is based on what specific proof, exactly? How do you know this was the real casus belli for the war in Iraq? Because Donald Rumsfeld said so? Because CNN said so?

LOL.
You hate reading that much eh? You can't even make correct attributions. You have no idea what I thought of the war, but you bring up Wmds. Comprehension fail.

LOL. Another logical fallacy from the board's resident logic champion! But this one is even more impressive than the last.

Two thumbs up!

me and you may be of the very very few, who are intellectually capable of understanding that ANY form of government, is oppression..

i'd say we're ready for heaven.. after all, isn't that the point of this existence?
