This TV has received a lot of praise. I bought a Vizio L32 32" LCD TV at Sam's Club. I returned it for this TV. The Syntax LT32HV spec wise beats everything out there in this price range.

The Syntax has a much higher contrast ratio compaired to most lower end LCD TV's, it has 1200:1 (Most in this price range are 500:1-800:1)
A better Brightness level 800 cdm/2 (Most in this price range are 500 cdm/2)
A lower responce time of 8ms (Most in the price range are 12ms-16ms)
A very nice viewing angle of 178°(H) / 178°(V)

I will post my findings on the Syntax once I get the TV next week.

BuyDig.com has this TV for $1095.00 and free shipping + a $100 MIR making the total $995.00 and no tax.
