Syncing Ipod with Itunes

I just re-installed my windows Xp machine and downloaded and installed itunes. However, when I want to sync the files, itunes warns me that all the music on the ipod will be erased. How can I transfer all the music from the ipod to the itunes library?

It sucks that syncing is uni-directional.

Nevermind, I found out how to do it without buying any software.

Plug in your ipod
Go to start menu>search
enable 'search for hidden files and folders'
run a search on the ipod
copy/paste the music files into a folder, then re import them

the files will have names like "TYFV", "QRTY" etc. but dont worry, when you put them back into itunes they will have all the original info

I just searched for "music" and the entire folder came up. I copied it to my hard drive and transferred it to my itunes folder.
