Synchronising files

Alright, here's my situation. I have a few computers on a network. My computer is in my bedroom, and my dad has the family computer in the study. There's a ~5GB MP3 collection on the family computer. My computer is running win2000pro, and dad's is running XP-home.

I want to set it up so that the MP3 collection is synchronised between the two computers, so when i add a file to the collection on my computer it gets added to the collection on the other computer, and vice-versa.

Anyone know how to do this? I was thinking of using the "My Briefcase" function in windows. Will this work? Are there any problems/dangers to setting it up this way? Is there a better/easier way?

Thanks ppl

Yeah, if anybody knows how to go about synchronising files like this i would be interested to know as well, i would like to synchronize my documents, music and some of my program preferences between my desktop and my laptop.

I'm using Syncback at home over a wireless network with a shared documents folder and it works great. Both the systems are on XP, one on Home and the other on Pro.
