"Sync out of range..."

Since I installed 12.00 I now get that message when I shut down my computer. I have a Dell 17" trinitron set at 75Hz with a desktop rez of 12x9x32, and a 64MB GF2. Can this hurt the monitor, comp, or vid card?

It will not hurt the monitor. It sees that the sync is out of range and refuses to display the image, thereby preventing the monitor from damage. If it did display the image, it could really cause some damage.

I got the same issues when I installed the latest 12.xx drivers.

I simply went back to the 6.50s and all is well.
