Symantec Firewall Corporate Password

I'm working on my dad's laptop, which used to be part of a network at my church. It no longer is, but Symantec Firewall Corporate edition is still on the laptop and requires me to enter an uninstall password to remove it. Is there any way to get around this?

Thanks!

To start with, try typing in some obvious stuff like "password", "admin", "church", "symantec", and "norton".

You might have to manually remove it - it's a matter of disabling the services, removing some registry entries, and then deleting the program folder. Then you have to use "sc" in a command console to delete the services.

There is also a registry key that you can change/delete to make it not be password protected any more, which will let you uninstall it normally. Unfortunately, I don't remember what it is. You should be able to find it by looking around.
