Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery Server Edition

does anyone have an experience with this? i'm trying to see what people's opinions are since i am considering it.

If it's from the Backup Exec line my opinion automatically starts low...

No, I haven't actually used it though.

BESR rocks. really kick ass - but its cheaper to virtualize and use Veeam imo.

but yeah besr for desktop or server just rocks. the old versions didn't even know if they were desktop or server think about it. restores are just image bare metal.

good stuff. but cheaper to virtualize and pay per socket

Thank you. I don't think i can virtualize this one however.

And yes, i am wary of symantec backup software.
