WTF? My dvr recorded warehouse 13 at 10 tonight (good) but it was 7 minutes off because of WWE (3rd week in a row). I only set my dvr to pick up +-2 minutes so I missed the end. WTF syfy, I understand that WWE is fake and all, but science fiction?? not even close. Figure out what audience you're targeting: the geeks like me who enjoy some escapism into alternate realities with advanced tech/different laws of physics or the losers who won't admit they're just watching a soap opera for men. Seriously if you want to see a fight, tune into the NHL (side note to Gary Bettman: none of your leagues fans want you to crack down on fighting so try to make some money instead of alienating your fanbase).

That is all. g'night.

What's the point of a scifi channel if you're just going to show non-sci fi? That's like offering wine and cheese at your party only to have arbor mist & american. What a fucking letdown. Hell, if that's the best I can come up with I'm going to bed.

it's just network crap.

WWE gets decent ratings and NBC doesn't have any other station to dump it on.

every cable station does this.

remember when Discovery channel dropped the whole science thing ~10 years ago?

History channel did that ~3 years ago. used to show history/Hitler documentaries. Now it's 80% crap.

do you prefer them filling up their time slots with megashark vs giant octopus, Megalodon 4, and other related hokum? That's their only other option, it seems.

Yep WWE gives them great ratings. Hell it's what brought out Spike TV. When it was TNN it single handedly gave the station a new life and money.

Yep they put on stuff that gives them ratings. Not that to notice when everything is a reality show on all these science/history channels.

They DID.
At least they did in my dreams last night.

btw best episode so far. The Claudia character has some great chemistry with the two agents, far more than she has with Artie who they seem to have paired her with.
In fact its a whole different show with Claudia on the case.

And then the women from the hotel walked in and joined the party.

She ever brought some toys.

What is syfy? Crap now a TV network spells like a 5 year old. :(

Syfy, officially pronounced "Sci Fi" and formerly known as the Sci Fi Channel, is an American cable television channel launched on September 24, 1992, that specializes in science fiction, fantasy, horror, and paranormal programming. It is part of the entertainment conglomerate NBC Universal. The name Syfy was officially adopted on July 7, 2009.

I guess they saw what happened to Tech TV and decided it was time to do the same.

They could've picked up Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I used to have the same problem. I have given up on certain shows and networks and now manually set my dvr for 5 minutes before and 12 minutes after the advertised time.
I learned my lesson last year with Fringe when I missed the ending three weeks in row.

That is if MGM wanted more episodes to begin with.

MGM must stand for something that includes Moron twice. They're bankrupt. Yet they stopped making a profitable show and aren't going to make some Stargate movies which are a pretty good bet to be profitable.

Wasn't there still a plan to make some Atlantis movies?

At this point it is considered 'highly doubtful' according to some quotes from people involved I posted in a thread about a month back.
