I just checked wheresmyrebate.com and it didn't show up. Curious. I was one of those who had to get the modified rebate, though, because the case ran out of stock when I had already placed my order.
Got Antec SX830 back in day with Onvia. My came with 2 removable hard drive cages like the SX1030. Want anyone, but I am flat broke. Excellence case, highly recommended. Wish Fry's would PM Outpost.
ONVIA, ah those were the days, free shipping, no tax, great prices, no wonder they didn't last. And the best thing, no one seemed to know about them, deals lasted a while.
<< I too like the 830 and have used it on several projects. I found myself in need of another yesterday and made a trip to my local Fry's who happend to be out of the 830. As an alternative I purchased a Mid-Tower "David's Own" for $59. The case includes two case fans, an AMD, P3, P4 approved 300 watt power supply, 3 5.25's, 2 3.5's and two internal 3.5's in a removable tray. I am very impressed with the fit and finish of this case. It has several nice touches that the antec lacks. Overall, I am very pleased and would suggest it as an alternative if you have a Fry's local to you. A little research has revealed that this is the same case as the Casedge LX734A/3400. The specs of the casedge can be viewed at www.casedge.com. >>
CaseEdge (Casedge?) has some really nice PC cases. I used one on a Duron 800 I put together a while back. The ease of installation was awesome. I haven't purchased a decent case for myself yet (I use the cheapies) but this Antec sounds great... Hrm..
