Anyone know if this case has any attributes which will lessen the amount of noise pouring out of it? How is the power supply? Is the power supply very quiet? And can someone please direct me to a site which sells the case for cheap since the cheapest one I found,Onvia, is sold out. :(

The case comes with an Antec 300w "SmartPower" ps. It has a Smart fan whose speed depends on the heat and load of your system. When your system is idle, the fan spins slower and isn't as loud. In that respect it's quiet. The case also has plenty of places to mount fans in, so if you mount some in there if you plan to overclock, it will get sorta loud.

good luck on finding the SX1030 anywhere. There are a few places listed on PriceWatch, but they'll charge you $80 + $27 shipping. If you're in a hurry and can't wait for Onvia, it's an option.

Is the case sealed very well? I only ask this to see how well the noise holding abilities of the case are.

I never actually got to hear your computer by itself since it was a lan party and almost everyone has a loud as hell Delta and/or many fans.

Anyone ever order from emscomputing???

Well, I got my case a few weeks ago and now I am just posting to say how much I like this case. It is much more quiet than my other case and the features are just plain awesome. Temps went down a tad bit and the front bays are so unique and cool. The only downside is that it is heavy and quite large so lan parties are going to be a biatch.

Quiet? Gawd, mine sounds like a turbine. Of course, that could be the eight fans whirring around inside (CPU, one 80mm in front, two 80mm in back, PSU, bay cooler, and slot cooler).

What are the least noisy 80mm fans out there? I think I have Sunon and Antec right now.

andrewR -- I run four 80mm Panasonic Panaflo L1A "Ultra Quiet" fans in my SX1030B. Of the 80mm case fans I've run, the Panflo are the quietest, by a fair margin.

The SX1030B also does a pretty good job of sound insulation; it's a lot quieter than my Enlight 7237, which also houses four 80mm fans.

Sucker was loud with my 4 case fans. Disabled the two front intake, and it's much quieter now, but still can't beat my old dell that had only one 120mm exhaust fan.

Well I have a Delta, the two stock fans, the power supply fan, and a graphics card cooler fan. I have two quite sunon fans on their way and a more quiet cpu cooler so the noise changeout between the Delta and YS tech should make room for the two intake I am getting. The main thing holding in the noise is how the thing is built. It is built like a tank with think panels and not too many hole for noise outlet, but still plenty of holes for air flow.
